St.Petersburg City Tourist Information Center (CTIC) has participated in the 18th International Tourism and Travelling Exhibition «Arabian Travel Market 2011» that was held in Dubai on the 2nd — 5th of May.CTIC's main aim was to promote St.Petersburg as one pf the main tourism centers of Russia and to present city's variety of tourist services and facilities. On the first day of the exhibition the General Director of CTIC had an official meeting with the head of guides' association Jazem Zaiton. They discussed issues concerning unification of standards in field of excursions and guides; main problems of the Arab Emorates in this field and possibility of using experience of St.Petersburg in UAE.
