Aleksey Schepochkin’s charity exhibition “Africa”

Rizzordi Art Foundation and City Tourist Information Center represent Aleksey Schepochkin’s charity exhibition “Africa”. The money from the sale of works will be donated to the charity fund оf children with congenital heart disease “Gift of Life”.

Aleksey Schepochkin was born in 1979 in Leningrad. In 1989 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Lyceum of Restoration. Love for natural, living “reality” is expressed in Aleksey’s works through African images. Looking for new ideas and the inspiration, the artist has traveled extensively throughout the African continent. Plastic, form and the rhythm of original African culture are the dominant basis of the author’s creation.

The exhibition is open from the 24th of March to the 9th of June 2011.
